Cher has become the latest star in the Catwoman sweepstakes.

Angelina Jolie is also rumoured to be in the running for the part, if The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan decides to resurrect the comic book character.

A source tells Britain's Sunday Mirror: "Cher is Nolan's first choice. He wants to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years."

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have been photographed enjoying a passionate kiss -- fuelling rumours they have revived their relationship.

The former couple met on the set of 2004 movie The Notebook, and enjoyed a two-year relationship until last year.

Gosling, who attended high school in Burlington, and London native McAdams were photographed kissing during breakfast at a Toronto restaurant with McAdams perched on his lap.
