A Hef-ty blessing

Hugh Hefner will walk his ex-girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson down the aisle when she marries football player Hank Baskett.

The Playboy founder -- who revealed earlier this year he had split from both Kendra and his number one live-in girlfriend Holly Madison -- is overjoyed with Kendra's engagement and also revealed the couple will wed at his famous Los Angeles mansion.

Hefner, 82, said in a statement: "Kendra Wilkinson has met someone who she would like to spend the rest of her life with. His name is Hank Baskett, a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, and he popped the question last week.

"I have given her my blessing and will be giving her away at a very special wedding ceremony at the Playboy Mansion this coming June."

Baskett and Wilkinson, 23, dated for four years.

And have a daughter just like her

today is all I've got."

Paris Hilton wants to marry a man just like her father.

The hotel heiress, whose parents Richard and Kathy wed in 1979, is so close to her dad she hopes to spend her life with a man who has similar characteristics.

She said: "They just have an incredible marriage. My dad is amazing. I hope that I can have a husband like my dad."

Hilton, who is currently dating Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, also revealed she is in constant contact with her mother when they are apart.

She explained: "My mom is like my best friend. We've always been really close. We talk on the phone like 10 times a day. I still feel like a little girl with my mom."

The voice of reason

Amy Winehouse has refused to pay for her husband's $60,000 US rehab stay.

The oft-troubled singer, whose spouse Blake Fielder-Civil was released from prison and sent straight to a treatment facility on Wednesday, has decided her husband needs to take responsibility for cleaning up his life if their marriage is to survive.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Blake thought he would click his fingers and Amy would give him L30,000. But so far she has refused and he is not happy."

Fielder-Civil was freed from jail after serving less than half of his 27-month sentence for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. It has been claimed his early release was on the condition he undergoes a seven-week treatment program for his drug addiction at the Life Works Community centre in Surrey.

'It's hard. It sucks,' but she's ready

Christina Applegate, who had a double mastectomy in July, is to undergo reconstructive surgery on her 37th birthday.

The Samantha Who actress -- who decided to have both breasts removed after cancer was detected in one of her breasts earlier this year -- will undergo surgery Nov. 25.

She said: "I still have quite a process until this is done. Yes, it's hard. It sucks. But I'm not a victim."

Applegate also revealed she has completely changed her perspective on life after finding out she was fighting the disease.

She added to TV Guide magazine: "I started looking for a beach house the day I found out I had this little disease. You just kind of go, 'What are you waiting for to get the things that you want and the things you dream of?' I don't own tomorrow or yesterday

Bronze that woman

Megan Fox demanded a sunbed be delivered to the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

The 22-year-old actress -- who reprises her role as Mikaela Banes in the sequel to 2007 movie Transformers -- reportedly wanted to top up her tan because she was feeling self-conscious about her pale skin, according to Fox News.

A movie insider said: "Megan had her assistant call up Sunset Tan and request a bronzing bed be IMMEDIATELY delivered to the set. But they didn't have one available so offered to send an expert to give Megan a customized spray tan. However, Megan turned down the offer, saying she wanted a sunbed instead."

Fox was recently described by her How to Lose Friends and Alienate People co-star Simon Pegg as the "most beautiful geek" he has ever met.

Madonna, Britney and Justin, oh my

Britney and Justin still share one bond: Madonna.

In separate appearances, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake performed Thursday during Madonna's show at Dodger Stadium.

The former pop power couple did not take the stage together, and it wasn't clear if they'd crossed paths.

Rumours of the guest appearances swirled yesterday, making it a can't-miss event for some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Elizabeth Banks, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez and Lucy Liu were among those in the first few rows.

Spears took a moment from her turn onstage to lament the passage of a gay-marriage ban in California.

She said she was sad because African-Americans are equal finally, but gay marriage is not.

Kim slips into Sensitive Skin

Kim Cattrall will film a pilot for female midlife crisis drama series Sensitive Skin next year.

Cattrall revealed she fell in love with the British version of TV show -- starring Joanna Lumley -- and plans to film a new version in New York.

The 52-year-old star said: "I saw the first series of it about two years ago and I fell in love with the writing and I met Hugo Blick, who created it.

"First of all we intended to do something else together which was completely different and fresh and new, and then I finally said to him -- your schedule is so busy and my schedule is so busy, why don't we do a U.S. version of Sensitive Skin?"

Cattrall feels the show will appeal to female audiences who will be able to relate to the struggles it portrays.

Goth, it's over

Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood have broken up.

The goth rocker and his 21-year-old girlfriend have reportedly ended their relationship after Manson allegedly refused to allow Wood's younger brother Ira to live with them anymore.

A source told America's Star magazine: "Evan owned the house and didn't want her unemployed sibling living on the street. It was the tipping point. Evan was fed up with how controlling and emotionally abusive Marilyn was."

Wood and Manson, 39, started dating in December 2006, shortly after the musician announced his split from burlesque star Dita Von Teese.
