Madonna has reportedly introduced rumoured boyfriend Alex (A-Rod) Rodriguez to her friends. The singer hosted a dinner party at her New York home so her closest pals could get to know the baseball star, much to estranged husband Guy Ritchie's annoyance.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "It is a massive slap in the face for Guy. Both he and Madonna share a lot of mutual friends who they still keep in touch with. Guy found out through one of them about this party and was pretty annoyed.
"The flurry of stories over the summer were acutely embarrassing for Guy."
Madonna's guest list reportedly included socialite Ingrid Casares and music producer Victor Calderone.
Just Guy and the guys
Guy Ritchie reportedly threw customers out of his London pub so he could enjoy a private drinking session.
The British film director asked drinkers to leave The Punch Bowl in Mayfair hours before the establishment's usual closing time so he could socialize with friends without fear of being interrupted.
One drinker told thisislondon.co.uk: " I was with a couple of friends when a member of staff came over to us and asked us to leave. When we asked why, he told us Guy wanted the venue all to himself. Everyone was a bit annoyed, but what could we do? We were given time to finish our drinks before we had to leave. They then bolted the doors so Guy could have his lock-in."

Wally and the Louvre
Eat your heart out, Eddie Haskell.
Tony Dow, best known as the actor who portrayed The Beav's big brother, Wally, in the '50s TV series Leave It to Beaver, will have one of his abstract sculptures on display at the Louvre.
Several sculptors from the Karen Lynne Gallery -- including Dow -- will have their works shown at the famous Paris art museum as part of the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts exhibition.
"Having something shown at the Louvre is about as good as you can get," said Dow, who lives in Los Angeles, "especially when it's a juried show like this where there's a panel of judges who pick the pieces to be in the exhibition. I'm a little humbled by the whole thing but grateful nonetheless."
Dow, who has also worked as a director and visual effects producer on several TV shows, has been painting and sculpting since he was a teenager.
The 63-year-old artist's sculpture that will be shown at the Louvre from Dec. 11 to 14 is titled Unarmed Warrior, and is a bronze figure of a woman holding a shield.

Jen fires back
Up until now, it wasn't in vogue for Jennifer Aniston to talk about Angelina Jolie.
Now, it's in Vogue.
Aniston was asked about the woman who took husband Brad Pitt from her in an interview with Jonathan Van Meter. She asked him to turn off the tape recorder for a moment, then she opened up.
What particularly irked her was a detailed timeline by Jolie of exactly how she fell in love with Pitt on the set of the sexy Mr. & Mrs. Smith action movie (2005). Pitt was still married to Aniston at the time.
"There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening," Aniston said.
"I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss."
Then she added: "That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool."
The full interview is featured in the December issue of Vogue.

Paris Hilton wants to date Prince William -- when he gets rid of his "mousey" girlfriend.
The hotel heiress met the future king -- who has been dating Kate Middleton for about five years -- on a recent night out and admits that despite being with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, she would act on her crush if William didn't have a girlfriend.
Hilton told New! magazine: "I'd be more than happy to date William -- so long as he ditches the mousey girlfriend. I couldn't believe it when I met him. He was awesome and really hot."
She denied that William had flirted with her: "People made out that he was flirting, but he's an absolute gentleman and wouldn't do that."

Sir Paul McCartney's five-year-old daughter is to sing in the new Shrek movie.
The music legend is voicing a character and writing a song for the latest instalment in the hit animated franchise, and he has arranged for Beatrice to sing backing vocals on the track.
A source said: "Paul is really pleased to be part of the next Shrek film because it's Beatrice's favourite movie. He said she can't stop talking about it. He wants to go one step further, though, and make sure she's part of the film.
"Paul's writing a song for the film and wants Beatrice to sing some of the harmonies. She's quite a musical kid. She's very bright. It will be a dream come true for her."
