Hamilton police are hunting for two men in an early morning carjacking on Hamilton Mountain.
Police say at about 3 a.m., a 30-year-old man was driving near Upper Wellington and Limeridge Road when a stranger forced his way into his car and sat in the front seat.
He started hitting the driver in the head while a second man jumped into the back seat.
They ordered him to drive them to Upper James and Mohawk.
From there, they ordered him to break in to a nearby apartment and steal some electronics.
The driver got out of the car and, instead of following orders, made a run for a nearby convenience store.
His attackers then fled with his red Hyundai Accent.
No injuries were reported.
"Investigators are calling the victim back in to clarify event," said Hamilton police media officer Sergeant Terri-Lynn Collings.
