(Jul 24, 2008) Re: 'He wouldn't give an inch, judge says' (July 19)
It was with curious interest I read the article regarding the standoff between the truck driver and the Superior Court judge.
It is puzzling that these two individuals could not resolve a minor traffic impasse.
If I read the article correctly, reaching a resolve to this incident involved the judge, the truck driver, a city supervisor and four police officers.
A total of seven individuals, all on the public payroll, required to resolve a minor traffic impasse.
The incident speaks volumes of their priorities, lack of reasonableness and their lack of concern for spending our tax dollars.
