(Nov 3, 2007) DON CHEADLE
This 42-year-old is one of the most respected and in-demand actors working today. He landed a well-deserved Oscar nomination for Hotel Rwanda and the same year shared the best picture prize as one of the producers (and stars) of Crash. The Kansas City-born actor first gained notice in the Robert Duvall-Sean Penn cop drama, Colors, back in 1988 and hasn't stopped since. Cheadle is currently involved with eight film projects but is equally at home on TV, where he shone as Sammy Davis Jr. in the made-for-cable The Rat Pack.
Talk to Me
RATED: 14A
Well-received in the few markets where it was released, this film tells the story of real-life '60s Washington, D.C., radio personality Ralph (Petey) Greene. Don Cheadle plays the ex-con who became a popular talk show host and community activist. Some of the scenes, including a rally led by Greene and a riot, were filmed in Hamilton.

Spider-Man 3
RATED: G
Not as much fun as Homer Simpson's Spider-Pig, but one of the big blockbusters of the summer slings its way to the home market. Will the eye-popping special effects look as good on the small screen? Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst reprise their roles as Spidey and Mary Jane while James Franco, Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace play the bad guys.
In the Land Of Women
RATED: PG
Young hottie Adam Brody heads the cast of this romantic semi-comedy about a porn writer who retires to Detroit to nurse a broken heart and care for his grandmother (Olympia Dukakis). He soon forms a bond with the family (Meg Ryan and Kristen Stewart) across the street.
License To Wed
RATED: 14A
This Robin Williams comedy made money in theatres despite generally tepid reviews. He plays a minister running a marriage preparation course who doesn't seem to have Mandy Moore and John Krasinski's best interests in mind when he puts them on a crash course.
