Barbecue chef Ted Reader will go home with the winner of a draw to be held after a day of food demonstrations at The Barn.

The King of the Q will be outside the 751 Upper James St. location from 1 to 4 p.m. to launch his new line of sauces, rubs, seasonings and grilling planks.

He'll be holding live demos on his custom-built, multi-grilled cooking rig and smoker, handing out samples, and signing copies of his 15th and newest cookbook.

How to get lucky?

The draw winner gets to take Ted home for dinner.

He'll bring the food, prepare it, serve it and even clean up after himself.

The winner, who must live within a 50-kilometre radius of the store, will also receive a Napoleon O-grill and a basket of Ted Reader products.
