Makes 2 servings

* 1/2 lb (225 g) white cheddar cheese, shredded

* 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter

* 1/4 cup (60 mL) sour cream

* 1/4 cup (60 mL) chutney, such as Major Grey

* 1/2 tsp (2 mL) curry powder

* 4 pieces naan bread, toasted, OR substitute regular white bread

* 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped cilantro

1. Preheat the oven broiler. Put the cheese, butter, sour cream, chutney and curry powder in a skillet. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the cheese is thoroughly melted.

Remove the skillet from the heat for 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese mixture firms up slightly.

2. Spoon the cheese mixture onto the pieces of naan.

3. Broil until tops start to bubble and are slightly browned, about 1 minute. Garnish with cilantro leaves. Serve hot.
