Scenes of the Campaign

The Hamilton Spectator

(Sep 29, 2008)

"People have asked my mother who she's voting for and she says 'none of your business.'

"That's kind of been the way it's always been in our family. It's something that's private.

"I'm a trade supplier, so I do most of my work for other sign shops and printing companies, and they bring me in on jobs such as this.

"We do have (other) candidates who have contacted us, but their campaigns are still, I guess, in the organizational stage.

"I guess the election sort of caught a lot of people by surprise, although it probably shouldn't have considering all the ads that were running in the month leading up to the announcement ."
